Song For The Troubadour was recorded in 2004 during the Fools In Love EP recording session with The Void in Glasgow, however, the song didn't see the light of day until two years later when it was released on the Felicite Singles Club - shortly before the label went into hiatus.
This was The Happy Couple's (premature) swan song. A wistful farewell to their salad days, it actually augured well for things yet to come. Featuring Stevie Jackson of Belle & Sebastian fame, and with a 'specially groovy remix by Carsten 'Erobique' Meyer on the flipside. At last, available again.
